RachelL's pick for week of Aug 6, 2017

I haven't loved this Rayna-free CMT version of Nashville, but they are doing what they can, and at least Maddie is less annoying now! Rating:

Finally a great episode!!! To bad it was the season finale... I hope the writers can do this every single episode next season. It was great to see Gunnar "waking up" even though my heart breaks to see Scarlett and him apart. I'm convinced they are end-game, but they need to work things out on their own before having a true relationship where both can trust each other. Zach has been a pain since introduced to the show, but I felt empathy for him when Deacon confronted him about his loneliness and the family he has found in Nashville.Avery and Juliette were on point, both fighting for what is right and coming together at the end... oh, how I wish there was another episode next week!
