24: Legacy is the return of one of the greatest series ever to grace our television sets. Do they still call them sets?

I've seen the first two episodes so far, and I can report that not a single thing has changed from the original. I think its been long enough since the first 24 ended that people who got exhausted of the format could rejoin with fresh eyes. Personally, as a super-fan of the original, I'm glad they didn't try to fix what wasn't broke. Each episode is a self-contained hour and more happens in a single episode of 24 than any other show on TV combined. The action never lets up, its a non-stop, high-octane thrill ride drenched in an epic-ness that outdoes even CBS's Scorpion.

If you love Action, and really fast-paced shows, 24: Legacy is for you.

Wow, just wow. I have no words for this show, other than that it is a spectacular thrill-ride that keeps you on the edge of your seats. The synopsis of the show is all about former soldier, Eric Carter, and his life prolonged after a great encounter in the prequel, which can only be watched on the Samsung Galaxy's VR. After the prequel, life is great until well-known terrorist, Jadalla Bin-Khalid shows up and threatens to the plunge the world into chaos, with a list of attacks. As all of this is happening, Carter plans to put what is most important first in his wife, trying to keep her and the innocent lives of the nation safe at all costs. People should not think of this show as a reboot of "24," and that it is not as good as its predecessors, but people need to get through their heads that this is not Keither Sutherland or Jack Bauer, this is Corey Hawkins and Eric Carter, who not only is magnificent as the so called "new Jack Bauer," but can handle a role like this. Do yourselves a favor and see this show for what it really is, not a reboot, neither a bad show, but an action-packed suspenseful thriller that you will find yourselves watching for hours on end, waiting desperately for new episodes to air on your television stations. Not only is the show great, the cast is superb, with Miranda Otto, Jimmy Smits, Anna Diop, Teddy Sears, Dan Bucatinsky, Gerald McRaney, Sheila Vand, Charlie Hofheimer and many more. Please give this show a try and support it for what it really is, a riveting thriller, not a reboot!

Not impressed with the first episode nor do I care for most of the actors. Corey Hawkins is no Jack Bower in any sense. He doesn't look like much of a hero. I doubt anyone can ever compare the quality of this series with the original 24. It was only the first episode though so maybe it may get better along the way. I personally doubt that it will make it through the first season.

I made it through the first three shows, It just seems slow and not a great story line.

Haven't seen the original, but I thought this was good on it's own as well.
It was tense all through the season. Characters were all right, but I didn't connect with any of them (maybe because they are all government people or terrorists). Plot was interesting, yet there are so many similar shows about terrorism and crimes, so this one didn't stand out with anything.
It felt a bit long - mostly because it's set in real time and over so many episodes, the constant tension starts to get tiring - no moment to breath. So it's better to watch it with pauses.

This isn't even 24. There is like no one from the original 24 and you can't have 24 without Kiefer Sutherland!!!
