Review of 24: Legacy

60 minutes

Centers on a military hero who encounters a troubled return to the U.S., compelling him to ask CTU for help in saving his life, and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.

Not impressed with the first episode nor do I care for most of the actors. Corey Hawkins is no Jack Bower in any sense. He doesn't look like much of a hero. I doubt anyone can ever compare the quality of this series with the original 24. It was only the first episode though so maybe it may get better along the way. I personally doubt that it will make it through the first season.

After watching the second episode I decided to update my 2.5 stars that I initially gave this series. It's not even worth that. I give it 1.5 stars and after episode three, I can probably give it the lowest possible rating there is. If this was suppose to reboot an excellent series that was cancelled, they failed. I'm sure the actors in this new 24 probably cost less together than what Kiefer Sutherland cost in the first run of this show. It's noticeable as well including the poorly written story line. If anything, this is an insult to the original 24 series.

Well, we are now into the 10th episode. I see no improvement at all in this series. To name this 24 Legacy is an insult to the original 24. This has none of the qualities of the original. If it get picked up for a second season, I for one will be totally surprised.
