24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY - "DAY 9: 9:00 PM-10:00 PM" REVIEW

A running theme this season has been people trying to make things right. It’s kind of what drives Jack to do all the crazy things he does, from getting himself locked up at the start of the day to Kate desperately hoping to make up for her perceived failures and even Margot’s twisted version of justice. Most everyone on 24 eventually finds themselves facing a situation where they feel must they fix some of what’s been broken. Sometimes things get fixed, but most of the time it just leads to bigger, badder problems. Read More... //www.ign.com/articles/2014/07/08/24-live-another-day-day-9-900-pm-1000-pm-review

24: Live Another Day Review: The Hunt for Cheng

The hunt for Cheng was on in  24: Live Another Day Season 1 Episode 11 ,  as a voice from the past haunted both Jack and Audrey. I loved the way Cheng said,  Bauer  when he saw Jack on that grainy video. It was as though he saw his worst enemy that just wouldn't die, and I guess that's probably close to the truth - but it's Cheng's own fault. He had Jack for a year and chose to torture him instead of kill him. Looks like that decision has come back to haunt him.  Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2014/07/24-live-another-day-review-the-hunt-for-cheng/

24: Live Another Day Review “9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.”

And so we’ve arrived at the point of the season where  24  asks you to put the blinders on a little bit. In a pretty goofy hour,  24: Live Another Day  used its penultimate episode to jump all over the map as it attempted to tie up one loose end after another. All the players are now out in the open, and it seems only Jack can save the day once again. In many ways, we’re right where I expected to be. However, there are plenty of poor decisions in the journey to this place. The return of Cheng does work on many levels for the show. It provides both Jack and Audrey with an extra layer of desire to see the man caught. Plus, it allowed us to witness that conversation between Jack and Audrey. My look at the screen identically mirrored the look Kate Morgan gives Jack. That’s not how we like our Jack Bauer. Don’t get us wrong, we understand why that Jack Bauer exists, but he’s not the Jack we want to see in the second-to-last episode of the season. Fortunately for us all, we did get plenty of butt-kicking action from Jack as he made his escape from the Russians and threatened to shoot the Chief of Staff in a room right next to the highest ranking military officials in the world. It was the kind of stuff only Jack Bauer is capable of, but somehow I keep eating it up. I was sold that he was ready to shoot his face right off in front of the president. Anything is possible with Jack Bauer. Read More... //www.tvequals.com/2014/07/07/24-live-another-day-review-900-p-m-1000-p-m/

'24: Live Another Day' Recap: Jack and Mark Work Together to Take on the Russians

Last week, I watched 24: Live Another Day the day after it aired. I was on vacation and couldn't recap the episode. Of course -- of course I would happen to miss the one episode that re-introduced Cheng!   While I was disappointed I missed the chance to write a recap on that great twist, I was excited that I would get to cover the next episode. But after this week's, I'm feeling pretty meh. I kind of don't like the direction the story takes in this episode. I'm now way less enthusiastic about the finale next week, even if I am intrigued to see how they'll cram 10+ hours into one episode of television.   Read More... //www.buddytv.com/articles/24/24-live-another-day-recap-jack-53998.aspx

24: Live Another Day "9:00 PM-10:00 PM" Review: Do What Has to Be Done

In the penultimate episode of 24: Live Another Day, Jack figured it all out.   Read More... //www.tv.com/shows/24/community/post/24-live-another-day-900-pm-1000-pm-review-do-what-has-to-be-done-140478551991/

24: Live Another Day Recap: Threat Levels

Penultimate episodes of 24 are kind of hard to recap. Its always a game of show-and-tell. The creators of the show pack in a lot of action and high drama in the second-to-last hour, but they make sure to hold back just enough so that the final hour will be filled with twists, shocks, reversals, and a sense of the day coming to an end. Last nights episode was no exception to this pattern. While it wasnt exactly spinning its wheels, you did get the sense that there was a little bit of padding going on. Still, it had enough dramatic confrontations that got you primed for next weeks shocking final hour.   Read More... //www.vulture.com/2014/07/24-live-another-day-recap-season-9-boudreau.html
