Looking beyond the talented cast, rich cinematic scenes, and picturesque scenery, Big Little Lies is a miniseries fraught with emotional tension. Every scene, every line builds upon itself creating an intriguing world of mysteries and lies. The story is enrapturing and immediately captures your attention. HBO at it's finest, this mini series is a can't miss.

While watching the first couple of episodes, I had visions of Reese Witherspoon skipping to the stage at the Emmys to collect her trophy. After the finale, I see Nicole Kidman gliding toward the microphone to deliver her acceptance speech. Either way, these ladies came to slay. As executive producers, they helped create an almost perfect seven episodes of television, telling an important story that balanced light with dark moments masterfully. HBO FTMFW.

Soooo good!!! I mean how can it not be with a cast like this? But the storyline is interesting, characters are developing at a very good pace and the cinematography is a work of art. HBO has done it again.

This show is so interesting, it is sad that it's only a mini series! Where do i start singing my praises? I love how the mood is so gloomy and constantly supported by a great music choice, silence, whispering. Very pleasing for my ears.
The cast is beyond great... I mean, I will watch anything with Nicole Kidman anyway! But even the kids are exceptionally well cast.
The storytelling is unconventionally and thus very interesting, the setting at the beachside is lovely, their houses are to die for, maybe they are a little too perfect, but their lives certainly aren't.

Watch this show, even if it is solely to marvel at the final tidying up of loose ends in the finale.

When I watched the first episode I would have never guessed I would relate so much to the characters. Heck that episode even felt a little dull, but in 4 episodes this show made me feel like I had known these characters for ages. Had loved them for ages. I don't know how they did it. If it was the writing or the acting or the directing, but they made me like, relate, and care for these characters. Even the ones my instinct said were odd. I think I will be picking up the book this summer (I tried before and had trouble getting through the first chapter). Maybe this time, when I already know the characters, I will get into it. If not, I just watch this show again ;P

The story of a beautiful disaster. In an imperfect world for those moments where we sometimes find solace in the unspoken truth.

Obsessed with this show! Keep waiting for each new episode, on the edge of my seat. The acting is masterful as is the directing and soundtrack. Beautiful show.

I'm in awe of the stellar performance of all the cast and the intriguing storyline of this show. Big Little Lies is just... powerful. It really touched me in so many ways. It was truly mesmerizing to watch the different charaters' development throughout the course of the story and the scenic setting rounded everything off perfectly. I'm kind of disappointed that this was just a miniseries but considering the epic ending it wouldn't have worked any other way.

Big Little Lies is the story of a murder mystery. This drama has top tier cast and wonderland writing. The characters are so well portrayed that you get sucked right into their lives. This series starts by introducing a murder in which we have no clue who, what or why it happened... It than works its way towards the murder itself, implying and eliciting all sorts of motives. What will happen? Who is the killer? Who is the victim? The storyline will keep you watching and the outcome well...

Big Little Lies is a wonderful miniseries which follows the lives of various families leading up the death of a character. With a star-studded cast, this show is filled with drama, suspense and addresses a lot of issues faced by both adults and children such as bullying and abuse.

Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley played significant roles in the success of the show; with complex storylines and exemplary acting! Even the children were exceptional, such as the actors who played Chloe and Ziggy.

I really wish that there were more episodes as Big Little Lies is so good! There are many more things that can be explored to push the show further, such as how everyone copes after the events of final episode, and to find out more about other minor characters such as the play director who seems really obsessive and shady.
