Bones Season 11 Episode 17 Review: The Secret in the Service

Even while Brennan was ill, she and Booth still managed to be one hell of a team on Bones Season 11 Episode 17 . Have we ever before witnessed Brennan when shes sick? I cant honestly remember seeing her like this, and I loved that Booth was willing to let Aubrey take the lead on the case so that he could stay home and take care of his ailing wife.   Read More...   //

'Bones' Recap: Booth Joins the Secret Service to Catch a Killer Targeting the President

In "The Secret in the Service" Booth joins the Secret Service tactical team assigned to the president of the United States. One can't help but get excited at the prospect of our man Booth getting decked out to run alongside the presidential motorcade. We spend so much time focusing on how brilliant, courageous and principled our leading man is that we forget he is more than a husband, a father, and a crime-fighter. He is six feet and one solid inch of heart-stopping awesome swarthiness. Let's all take a moment of silence to appreciate the whole package that Bones has given us so generously through this character for the last 11 years.   Read More... //

'Bones' Recap: Brennan Fires A New Intern On the Spot

"The Strike in the Chord" hits a couple pitchy notes. It has a good deal to its merit -- Aubrey's wonderful geekiness, fantastic vocal performances by members of the Grammy award-winning a cappella group, Pentatonix, and Hodgins return to his delightful collegial self. What has left me wanting more is the lack of a closure scene between Parker and Booth. We all knew everything would work out because this is Booth after all, but I was hoping for a more poignant final conversation between the Booth boys. Granted, the final scene between Brennan and Booth is precious, but my heart still wants what my heart wants....   Read More... //

Bones Season 11 Episode 16 Review: The Strike in the Chord

If Bones Season 11 Episode 16 proved one thing, its that were all just a bunch of rats reacting to bells. The scene where everyone grabbed their phones at the same time after hearing the alert sound was funny because it was so darn true. Weve all been programmed to react, whether we realize it or not. Speaking of rats, Hodgins had quite an affection for the last remaining lab rats, and it was hard to blame him. First, they were actually kind of cute, and second, theyd been through a lot.  Read More...   //

Bones Season 11 Episode 15 Review: The Fight in the Fixer

Who needed a murder on Bones Season 11 Episode 15 when it was the parents and children who brought all of the drama. Booth and Brennan are quite possibly the most adorable parents on TV. They adore their daughter and were thrilled to see all E+ on her report card. (And for those of you rolling your eyes at the E for exemplary, it took me ten minutes to decipher my childs first report card. Apparently they dont give out As, Bs, Cs, etc., until the third grade!)   Read More...   //
