Chicago Med Reviews & Ratings

Wednesdays, 8:00 PM ET on NBC

60 minutes

Executive producer Dick Wolf delivers the newest installment of the compelling “Chicago” franchise, an emotional thrill ride through the day-to-day chaos of the city’s most explosive hospital and the courageous team of doctors who hold it together. They will tackle unique new cases inspired by topical events, forging fiery relationships in the pulse-pounding pandemonium of the emergency room, and through it all, familiar faces from the Chicago police and fire departments will intertwine as this third team of Chicago heroes hits the ground running. The cast includes Oliver Platt, S. Epatha Merkerson, Laurie Holden, Nick Gehlfuss and Yaya Dacosta.

This show is going to be good I can already tell. It has two people from shows that were on the CW channel. I love the other two Chicago shows so I know this one will be just as good!

Great beginning!! Loved the walk-ons, hope they keep it connected that way. Let's Chicago Fire characters be in my life one day more in a week. It's a typical medical drama just like many from ER days. And then it's not. The characters are unique and have not started out in the way others did. More of a cross-section of the human experiences,languages,lifestyles.. and reflects real life as it is now. I am a doctor's kid, was reading medical books before I could read well. Know a lot about the reality of this lifestyle as my Dad studied while I was a toddler and my 'afterschool care' and playground was the Hospital he did his residency/eventual consultancy at and then his own office once he went solo. It feels totally realistic. The terminology used is accurate and the complications that can occur are spelled out clearly. I am all in!! Great job again Dick Wolf!!!
