Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 24 Review: Born Into Bad News

Poor Lindsay. She is a complete mess right now and no one knows how to help her. It's definitely not for lack of trying as Voight and Halstead both gave it their best shots. Unfortunately, she's not ready to hear them yet. Will they be able to get through to her before it's too late? We'll have to wait until next season to find out because Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 24 ended with her turning in her badge.c!   //

Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 23 Review: Push the Pain Away

What is the right way to deal with the death of a loved one? That sentiment echoed through Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 23 as Lindsay continued her descent into her old ways and the case involved a family avenging the death of a loved one. Yes, there were some clear contrasts between both different ways shown to us this evening. Let's start with Lindsay. I knew there was a very high possibility of her returning to her old life in the wake of Nadia's death. She continues to blame herself for the death and that's why she is letting herself down.   Read More...   //

Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 22 Review: There's My Girl

Well, that was another tearjerker. Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 22 found the team trying to move on in the aftermath of Nadia's death, and damn, it was difficult to watch. It really was nice to have a character like Nadia who had a connection with so many different characters. Lindsay was throwing herself into the deep end with work to take her mind off of it, but by the end of the hour, we knew that Lindsay blamed herself. I really can't blame her. It is surely the stages of grief that any normal person would go through. Nadia could have been days away from overdosing if Lindsay didn't save her. Although Nadia died a premature death, at least she was striving to make a change in her life and it's just unfortunate how it was cut short. I'm betting I'm not the only one to struggle with the opening scene which showed us her death again.   Read More...   //

'Chicago PD'-'Law & Order: SVU' crossover: Never represent yourself in court

The chief undoing of the charming sociopath at the center of the "Chicago Fire"-"Chicago PD"-"Law & Order: SVU" crossover is that he doesn't live in a world where he can watch "Law & Order" shows. If he did, he would know that representing himself in court almost never goes well. The second three-episode, city-spanning crossover of the season felt more cohesive than the first, in that the "Fire" episode that kicked it off Tuesday (April 28) had more to do with the story than the previous one from the fall. It was also more personal, as Wednesday's two episodes centered on the death of "PD's" Nadia (Stella Maeve), abducted by perp (Dallas Roberts) in Chicago and killed near his old home in New York. When the action shifted to the courtoom, however, Yates -- who had to that point remained at least a step ahead of the two units trying to catch him -- made the fatal... //

Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 21 Review: The Number of Rats

Things got serious real fast, right? Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 21 served as the second part of crossover week and hot damn, it was crazy good! Let's speak about Greg. We have our guy in the scrubs who effectively killed the nurse in Chicago Fire . He is such a sleaze. I got chills the way he was practically undressing Lindsay with his eyes. Then when he greeted Nadia, it was clear she was going to end up hurt.   Read More...   //

Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 20 Review: The Three Gs

The police always win in the end. That would be a wise bit of advice to take after Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 20 which featured a case that was close to Olinsky. The guy has been trying to take down Dennis Lee for several years and it must have been a sigh of relief when he finally did. As always, he had a little help from his friends. Human trafficking storylines have been done to death in procedural series, but this one worked really well on an emotional level. You could see the trouble that Dennis Lee had caused Olinsky and all Olinskly wanted was justice. He witnessed the guys killings first hand and wanted to take action.   Read More...   //

Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 19 Review: Get Back to Even

Can you believe all those twists in just one hour? On Chicago PD Season 2 Episode 19 , the team sprung into action when a group of young men are found dead.
