Chicago PD Season 5 Episode 3 Review: Promise

It's hard being an immigrant on Chicago PD Season 5 Episode 3 . After a woman was found murdered and her stomach sliced open, Intelligence was on the case. Antonio was especially involved because as he told his daughter, who just moved in with him, "you have to help your fellow Latinos."   ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/10/chicago-pd-season-5-episode-3-review-promise/

Chicago PD Season 5 Episode 2 Review: The Thing About Heroes

It feels a bit "too soon" to talk about Chicago PD Season 5 Episode 2 's homegrown terrorism plot just days after the deadliest gun massacre in modern UShistory. There may not have been a shooting in the episode, but due to the nature of the content, I was convinced it would be postponed. But maybe it's good that it wasn't because situations like this and what happened in Las Vegas should be talked about. And I'd rather it be fiction than the brutal reality that more than 30 thousand innocent concertgoers were faced with on Sunday night.   ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/10/chicago-pd-season-5-episode-2-review-the-thing-about-heroes/

Chicago P.D. Premiere Recap: Did It Help You Make Peace With Lindsay's Exit?

Look, it was time for her to move on. It just was. You need to make peace with it. Those were Voights words of advice to Halstead during Chicago P.D.s Season 5 premiere on Wednesday but did they also help you come to terms with Sophia Bushs departure as Detective Erin Lindsay? Chicago PD Season 5 Episode 1 Review: Reform

Throughout most of Chicago PD Season 5 Episode 1 , Voight tried to assure us that it was time for Lindsay to move on and that we had to make peace with it. But how do we make peace with something that we're not ready to accept? Lindsay's shoes can never be filled, no matter how hard they try. I also don't necessarily agree with Voight considering I found her departure to be super abrupt. And since Sophia Bush herself never addressed it, I couldn't wait to see how the series would handle the elephant in the room.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/09/chicago-pd-season-5-episode-1-review-reform/

Chicago PD Season 4 Episode 23 Review: Fork in the Road

Sigh. Yet another cliffhanger involving Lindsay's job situation. Do the writers have some sort of quota they have to fill? Is there something in Sophia Bush's contract? So, what happens next?   At least Chicago PD Season 4 Episode 23 acknowledged the other two times Lindsay has left Intelligence. The DEA task force didn't last very long, and neither did her bender. It's probably safe to say she's not going anywhere, and if she does, she'll be back in a jiffy. There are differences this time, of course. ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/05/chicago-pd-season-4-episode-23-review-fork-in-the-road/

Chicago PD Season 4 Episode 22 Review: Army of One

Cases involving children are always the hardest. Not just on the audience, but on the characters involved as well. Lindsay began to unravel on Chicago PD Season 4 Episode 22 in her determination to find a kidnapped boy. As far as victims go, pedophiles are not the ones most likely to garner our sympathy. Not that I'm condoning vigilante groups like the Perv Hunters brutally murdering these men, just that in the realm of TV, there are worse victims.   ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/05/chicago-pd-season-4-episode-22-review-army-of-one/

Chicago PD Season 4 Episode 21 Review: Fagin

Well that was an interesting, "ahem," twist on the classic story of Oliver. Except instead of orphans being taught to pickpocket, a group of impressionable teens were cajoled into the far more serious crime of bank robbery. Chicago PD Season 4 Episode 21 brought us a devastating, troubling story. One that will be sticking with Lindsay for awhile. ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/05/chicago-pd-season-4-episode-21-review-fagin/
