Cristela Season 1 Episode 14 Review: Marriage, Counselor

Looks like Cristela can add marriage counselor to her impressive resume! Cristela Season 1 Episode 14 found Cristelahelping not one, but two married couples who'd lost their way. With Roseanne back as Trent's estranged wife, the two looked to end their marriage once and for all, but were they throwing in the towel too soon? Cristela sure thought so! When Trent tasked her with getting Veronica to sign a pre-nup, I was just as confused as she was. Who gets someone to sign a pre-nupright before they're about to get divorced? And who would actually sign that?   Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2015/02/cristela-season-1-episode-14-review-marriage-counselor/

Cristela Season 1 Episode 13 Review: Mexican Mona Lisa

At this point in the season, I think I can safely say that Natalia is this shows surprise MVP. Even when she's not involved in the A plot, she manages to shine and I always find myself laughing at her outrageous stories. Seriously, if she begins a sentence with 'In my village...', I immediately laugh a bit. Cristela Season 1 Episode 13 was a great showcase for Natalia, as the girls became concerned that she was sick. Daniela was worried about Natalia's blood pressure and the plot this week synced up nicely with Cristela Season 1 Episode 12 .   Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2015/02/cristela-season-1-episode-13-review-mexican-mona-lisa/

Cristela Season 1 Episode 12 Review: Hypertension

Fitness was the name of the game on Cristela Season 1 Episode 12 . Daniela came on strong as she tried to get Cristelathinking about her appearance and how that might affect her future. Cristela and Daniela have a pretty great relationship for the most part. Sure, they have the occasional spat here and there, but their friendship and love for one another is one of the bright spots of the show. I think that's why I was so taken aback by Daniela's rudeness when it came to Cristela's looks. Daniela has never been shy about speaking her mind, even when her thoughts are shallow, but to come at Cristelaand act as if she's an unattractive woman was pretty low.   Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2015/01/cristela-season-1-episode-12-review-hypertension/

Cristela Season 1 Episode 11 Review: Dead Arm

What do you do when you find out your child is a bully? On Cristela Season 1 Episode 11 , Daniela is faced with that important question and luckily she has Cristela there to help her. So far the kids on the show haven't had much time to shine and while they seem likable enough, we don't really know an awful lot about them. Well, we got to know Izzie a little bit better and it turns out she is a pretty observant little girl. She listens and picks up on everything her family members do and say. Literally. And while the loudest voice of reason, that being Cristela of course, tries to steer Izziein the right direction, she ends up causing more harm than good.   Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2015/01/cristela-season-1-episode-11-review-dead-arm/

Cristela Season 1 Episode 8 Review: Floor Favor

Alberto is back guys! And better than ever.  After some time off, Alberto was in full force on  Cristela Season 1 Episode 8 , wooing Cristela and refusing to part with his Hawaiian shirt and jean shorts.  While Cristela is the star of the show (and rightfully so), Alberto has been the shows not-so-secret weapon. Every time he smiles, I find myself smiling right along with him.    Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2014/12/cristela-season-1-episode-8-review-floor-favor/

Cristela Season 1 Episode 7 Review: Enter Singing

On a very musical  Cristela Season 1 Episode 7 , Cristela and Felix butt heads for the hundreth time. But this time they aren't fighting about women's rights issues, they're fighting about West Side Story.  Yes, that West Side Story. The tragic tale of a forbidden love between Maria and Tony. And one of my favorite musicals of all time.    Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2014/11/cristela-season-1-episode-7-review-enter-singing/

Cristela Season 1 Episode 6 Review: Equal Pay

In contrast to past weeks which have been more lighthearted and dealt with things like online dating and Hall and Oates,  Cristela Season 1 Episode 6  took on a more serious topic in equal pay rights.  Trent brought the interns a case in which a woman was suing her employer, in this case a bank, alleging that she was getting paid less than her male counterparts. Cristela was immediately on the side of the woman, but unfortunately, Culpepper and associates was representing the bank, not the victim.     Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2014/11/cristela-season-1-episode-6-review-equal-pay/

Cristela Season 1 Episode 5 Review: Super Fan

While Cristela has come out of the gate strong, there was one part of the show that wasn't clicking as much as everything else. And that was the work scenes. They haven't gelled as much as the family scenes and for that reason they haven't been nearly as enjoyable. But that all changed tonight on  Cristela Season 1 Episode 5 , as the Culpepper and Associates scenes were extremely entertaining.    Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2014/11/cristela-season-1-episode-5-review-super-fan/
