I tried, but could not see any redeeming value in this show. Aside from a weak plot, the lead actor is positively horrible. I'm watching a month after it was cancelled and looking at the comments post-cancellation, a few people said it ended abruptly, yet another reason not to watch this show.

If you know how to look, there is so much here to be found.

Don't be fooled by the haters, or naysayers, by the beginning of the third episode the series has already begun to deliver on its first major theme. This is a character driven series, so PAY ATTENTION to all the characters, their links to one another, the lodge, the community, the events past, present, and future, especially in the first two episodes.

Not all of the casting is perfect for the supporting characters so far, but as the season(s) progress(es) that is likely to change as they either develop or disappear. Wyatt Russel continues to impress with his rugged likability and his talent to convey emotions, both subtle and powerful, in such a natural and seamless integration of character. This is an excellent role, well suited to him, that will undoubtedly provide him an unparalleled opportunity to continue perfecting his craft. Sonya Cassidy is a breakout hit, brimming with self-awareness, wit, comic cynicism, and edge, all backed by an emotional intensity that resonates with Russel and breathes life into their brother-sister relationship.

I highly recommend this series if you can sit down and really watch it, there are too many subtleties to simply skim. The potential for future runs is nearly unlimited, with the lodge serving as a community hub, safe-haven, and conferencing hot-spot for all of the mysterious, lucrative, exciting, dangerous, unsettling things going on around them, unseen.

What is the lodge after all, but a doorway into the secrets of their community, disguised as a secret society.

Great first season, season 2 started ok but by episode 3 its off the rails and getting weirder in a bad way. Dropping it.

Only watched the first 3 eps. show still doesn't make any sense, but has some funny areas. Just as you think the lodge is going to play a important role - nothing. Then the end of eps. 3 things got weird hopefully it starts picking up now. Stopped watching.

What a fun confusing ride.. now there better be a season 2.. the only spoiler here.. Cheech Maron! yes please!
It took a few eps to get into it but even with unanswered questions all the way through.. I kept watching.. and smiling.
