Terrible scripts, terrible acting, terrible costuming. There's nothing else to say really.

MIghty Morphin' Power Rangers is a back in the day 90's classic. It inspired the continued franchising of the series, and a whole generation of kids to wear Power Ranger Halloween costumes. The show is campy and fun, but unfortunately do not hold up as well years later.

This show brings back memories of staying up past midnight on school nights just to watch reruns of this show. Tommy will always be my first love.

The OG PR series, now if you haven't watched it because you were too young, you are forgiven, if not, then shame on you, this is the time to rewatch it. Now the show has its flaws, and if you don't know what they are before watching don't look it up, because then all you'll see is the flaws. The show is a little bit magical such a very odd mix of american teen culture, and martial arts mayhem, that may seem common now, but for its time? Frankly revolutionary. Besides this show has some of the most excellent arcs from PR series as a whole, often they have two or three part episodes, something that they lose as they go forward, giving you an option to really be involved in that storyline even if only for a slightly longer while.
One of the other great aspects of this show that wasn't maintained is the way they finish a creature. Not every creature fights a megazord, not every one gets blasted by the combination of power weapons, this is more fun, so if you're reading this and produce the show, bring back this aspect, the, every show needs a megazord fight is a tired concept, monsters are always destroyed twice. Why can't they be brought back ad infinitum is one of the most obvious questions, monsters can only be destroyed once, it makes sense, and this is the only season where this concept is realised. (Personal gripe with almost every other series there, sorry.)
Now as I mentioned there are flaws, but try and bear in mind when it was made, this is a show from the mid 90s where PC everything wasn't yet a thing. Enjoy it for what it is, a little slice of the 90s that will ignite the soul of the child inside every time you watch it.
