Review of One Dollar

60 minutes

A mystery set in a small rust belt town in post-recession America, where a one-dollar bill changing hands connects a group of characters involved in a shocking multiple murder. The path of the dollar bill and point of view in each episode paint a picture of a modern American town with deep class and cultural divides that spill out into the open as the town's secrets get revealed.

This is a very well written and wonderfully acted crime mystery drama. I enjoyed the camera work too. The artistic colour grading and LUTs are interesting. At first distracting but you get used to it then like it. I've watched the first season but for the finale & I'm totally looking forward to knowing how that goes! Fingers crossed for a season 2. So far it's not bee3n cancelled or renewed
