Review of Rescue Me

60 minutes

From the creators and executive producers of The Job comes Rescue Me, a dramedy that centers on the inner workings of Engine 62, a New York City firehouse, and the personal and emotional battles of its members in a post-9/11 world. The show focuses on Tommy Gavin, the senior firefighter whose life is in turmoil as he copes with the stresses and fears of his job as well the separation from his wife Janet.

This show is a classic about a bad-ass firefighter who has been through hell and back. This show touches on the emotions of firefighters after 911. The struggles and problems they face, their distractions and addictions they face. I recommend this show to anyone who like powerful and dark comedy dramas.
