Review of SWAT

Wednesdays, 10:00 PM ET on CBS

60 minutes

A locally born and bred S.W.A.T. sergeant is torn between loyalty to the streets and duty to his fellow officers when he’s tasked to run a specialized tactical unit that is the last stop in law enforcement in Los Angeles. Inspired by the film of the same name.

Such a waste of time. Series unfortunately just doesn't deliver. Poor chemistry, unimportant characters. male dominated series. Since it came out at the same time as The Brave and Seals, it just doesn't compare and it is not worth wasting my time on it

For the times, the original S.W.A.T. show from the 70's was more realistic than this one. This one's just a glossy/action/shoot-them-up show pretending to be something else. It's both, laughable and insulting to real police code and procedures. If you are interested in L.A. police shows with more substance and realism I recommend "Bosch" and "Southland".
